Turtledroppings Bowl Pick’em Contest Update #6
Finally Cup Cake Alley had ended, and we are in ACC play. A funny time to be talking football, but we do have a contest to wrap up. Just because Randy Edsall’s Football Season ended in November doesn’t mean everyone else’s did too!
With that, let’s move on to the contest. The big news is that J has finally relinquished his once insurmountable lead. The strategy of starting big and hoping to hold on, lasted for quite a while, but not long enough. RIW2 (who isn’t me by the way, I’m 3, you know like RG!) took the slow and steady route and it finally paid off. J dodged a huge bullet when Florida lost because just about everyone and their mother were going to gain huge ground, but his repreif only lasted a few days as Texas A&M gave RIW2 the big point pay out he was looking for to leapfrog into first.p
Other than that, there isn’t much to discuss. The games are now trickling to an end. I must say I have gotten to see a lot of Football this bowl season. Not necessarily sitting down on the couch with a bowl of popcorn, but mostly the games have been on and I was always aware of what was going on, and it has been pretty fun. I think so far, you have to hand it to Clemson and LSU for providing the most entertainment, that one was a classic. And a great win for the ACC. The ACC has done well this season with GT, Clemson, and FSU all getting the job done. And if you throw in future Louisville, things look pretty bright for the conference, but oh well. By then we’ll be in the Big 10, a thought I still can’t stomach.
Anyway, below are the latest standings, I would like to say this is getting exciting, but the truth of the matter is, if I sat down and did the math, it is probably already over. So just worry about the person ahead of you and trying to catch them.

Today we do have Pittsburgh against Ole Miss, so more chance for the future ACC to make some noise, unless of course Ole Miss wins, then we just pin the loss on the Big East! Sunday, we see Kent State vs. Arkansas State, but if I know the DC-Baltimore area, college football won’t be on the radar much this Sunday.
