For Those Interested in Stopping MD to Big 10
Not sure if this will work or not, but for those of you interested in contacting President Loh with regards to the potential Maryland to Big 10 move, you can contact him at the email address below. I would suggest you keep it tasteful and include your financial interest in the team as I’m sure only that will get his attention. Granted he may not even read your email or care, but it may be worth a shot:
If you are for the move, you probably don’t have to do anything.

This is an exercise in futility. The Loh administration has been convinced that this is the only way to bring financial stability to the UMD athletic department… tradition be damned. In one sense this is valid: from a football perspective, the ACC is nearly irrelevant, and since basketball isn’t a revenue generator, the Big(1)1(4)0 is a more stable financial environment. Although I have no idea how we are covering our portion of the ACC exit fee.
I will always be a Terp fan and alum, but honestly, what does UMD bring to the Big(1)1(4)0? College basketball is not a $-maker. And while we may put a few more butts in the stands in College Park for football, our squad can now expect almost no road support.
Maybe this makes sense as more details come to light, but this move significantly dampens my enthusiasm for college athletics.

What tradition does Maryland have in the Big East South, or as it is known right now the ACC, all that the ACC is becoming is the Big East South. The game you remember are from the 80′s and earily 90′s those days are gone now you can look forwar to Pitt and the rest of the Big East have fun!
