Every good coach I’ve ever seen who loses a valuable player and knows his team’s season is in real jeopardy because of it can’t help but show some emotion and some real disappointment around the loss. Even if they’re not supposed to. All of Edsall’s comments fall in the “these things happen and we have to keep our heads up” category. He’s such a loser. It’s obvious his expectations for this team are well below ours and are totally unacceptable for a head coach. He knows each injury gives him another excuse for mediocrity. I think he’s just thrilled to be flirting with 5 wins. Heck, that’s just 3 wins short of his dream season. I’d love to give him credit for having these kids believing in themselves, but I think the credit for that confidence goes to Diggs for securing a few W’s – not Randy.
