Roddy Peters Commits To Maryland Basketball
Sure the Terps missed out on the Harrison twins, but I think everyone will be pretty excited to have a local star who grew up as a Maryland fan. Enter Roddy Peters from Suitland, and more importantly a member of DC Assault on the AAU circuit. Is this a sign of things to come in terms of local talent? I certainly hope so!
Peters is a 6’4″ point guard who chose the Terps over the likes of Kansas and UCLA. The big one the Terps beat out is Georgetown. It is nice to go head to head with them and win. He is rated as top 5 pg on all list and a top 25 player overall on some recruiting sites.
Welcome to Maryland Roddy. Now lets hold our breath until this time next year to make sure he actually suits up. Just saying we have been down that road before.
