A couple of quick comments from the game. Without Diggs, Maryland does not win that game. We needed an explosive play to break through the stagnant portion of the game, and he provided it.

Next, I am really starting to wonder what Edsall is paying attention to on the sideline. If it’s the game, I am really worried. I feel like his game management in late game situations is worse than what a player in pee-wee football would do. Whether it is timeout useage (or the lack there of), or adding 6 to a score, and then subtracting it from the opposing teams score to determine the advantage of going for 1 or 2. It just seems like every game, something happens that I just don’t get.

Look, I have never coached a game in my life, so I have no idea what it’s like when there are 80 guys on a sideline and people are talking in your ear all day, but there are just some common sense things that should be done and are not.

Still, the Terps have a very real chance of going to 4-2. It will be interesting to see what the mood of UVA is coming off a loss to Duke.
