CJ Brown Out for 2012
Multiple sources are reporting that CJ Brown, the Terps projected starter at QB this year has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the entire 2012 season. The Turtledroppings staff would like to wish Brown all the best during his recovery. Looking forward I have to say that the season was already going to be challenging. This makes improving over last years 2 – 10 record very difficult. It’s not impossible but I would say that there is a better chance of the sun not coming up tomorrow as well as the Mars Rover finding intelligent life. Caleb Rowe and Perry Hills are the most likely starters moving forward. Both are freshmen. Hills was reported as the #2 QB on the depth chart as of this morning. Wouldn’t it be nice to still have DOB? It’s too bad Edsal and he couldn’t get along. It would be quite fitting if DOB were to do something like win the heisman. I’m not saying he will but it sure seems like the Terps have the SI curse right now.

CJ Brown leaves Terps feeling blue!
Yeah, this is about as bad a news as we could possibly have (on the field at least). Sigh….
