Maryland Uniform Combination for Temple
Per Randy Edsall, the Maryland Football team’s captains have decided they will wear the gold jerseys, black pants, and black helmets this weekend vs Temple. I think it will look sharp, but, I am kind of missing the red. I guess you can call me a bit of a traditionalist. Here’s to hoping the Owl’s will think the yellow jersey’s are non-contact jerseys for injured players and the Terps will be able to run free all day. I can hope can’t I? I guess this is going to be a Wednesday afternoon tradition for the foreseeable future.

I don’t mind them switching unis all the time but the part about Edsall announcing the new unis each week seems pretty lame. Instantly, something that was kind of cool – being able to come onto the field with a new uni combo each week – has turned into something very uncool – bunch of dudes sitting around trying to decide what to wear.

I think they should just come out on game day with whatever combo they choose. We don’t need Twitter post on Wednesday. If nothing else, move it to Friday afternoon.
