Well a thin front line, just got taller.  This time the Terps went to the Ukraine in order to bring in 7 foot 1 center Olexiy Len.  Is he going to be a star?  I wouldn’t bet my lunch money on it.  Is he going to contribute?  Just from a numbers stand point he is going to play a few minutes here and there at a minimum.  He is going to have to put some weight on in order to put some pounds on coming in at 225 lbs.

He does have some ability.  During the recent U18 European Championship he averaged 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 boards.  I am not sure how stiff the competition was, but those numbers are certainly telling that he can help steal some minutes here and there.  The downside of Len is he may not be around for 4 years.  He is fairly highly regarded for his age in Europe, and we all know how that worked out with Hawk Palsson.
