Just incase you haven’t had a chance to hear Randy Edsall speak yet, here is the clip from his interview with the Sports Junkies this morning.  Terps New Coach Randy Edsall « CBS Washington.

I think it is well known I have nothing against Randy Edsall.  It is more the entire process and who we were lead to believe we were going to get.  After listening to this (and some other interviews), you have to give the man some credit.  He is working hard to promote the program.  Whether or not anyone listens and fills Byrd remains to be seen, but the man is trying.  I wanted nothing more than to have Mike Leech come in.  It didn’t happen.  I am putting my support behind Coach Edsall.  If he doesn’t work out, that falls on the Athletic Director.  After all we were told we were letting an Alumni go in order to achieve “transformative excellence”.  So with that, for the last time this season will you see me bring it up.  This is who we are, and it is not Randy Edsall’s fault.  Let’s just hope he is recruiting some better prospects than E.B.!
