It is official, the Terps and Miami Hurricanes football game will kickoff at noon on Saturday, November 6th. ESPNU will televise the game from Miami. You have to think if Miami would have won, it would have been a pretty good shot to have been the 3:30 ABC game, but that is not the case. With the way teams from the ACC are dropping in and out of the top 25, I guess I am not really surprised this game has made its way to ESPNU.
Speaking of Miami, the question on everyone’s mind, is what is Jacory Harris’ status? It has been confirmed that he does indeed have a concussion, but there has not been a decision made on his status for Saturday. If Harris can not play, the Canes will look to Freshman Stephen Morris to make his first career start.
Just in case you were wondering, the Terps are receiving votes in both polls. They have 9 in the USA Today Poll, and 11 in the AP Poll. That is good enough for 31st and 29th respectively. A win next week, and they might just jump into the top 25.
