Maryland and Miami Game Time Announced

Sunday, October 31st, 2010

It is official, the Terps and Miami Hurricanes football game will kickoff at noon on Saturday, November 6th.  ESPNU will televise the game from Miami.  You have to think if Miami would have won, it would have been a pretty good shot to have been the 3:30 ABC game, but that is not the case. [...]

Terps Roll Over Deacs

Sunday, October 31st, 2010

I will admit.  I did not see that coming.  I will also admit, that I didn’t really think we were capable of doing that to anyone not named Morgan State.  The Terps played turnover free football, and defeated Wake Forest 62-14 on Homecoming.  The 62 points was the most Maryland has scored against any ACC [...]

Wake Game Here at Last

Saturday, October 30th, 2010

I have had this game circled for quite a while.  First it is my first game at Byrd this year.  It is hard to believe that I have been to three games this year and none have been in College Park, but it is true.  Secondly, it is a game I feel the Terps should [...]

Weather for Wake Forest at Maryland…aka Homecoming!

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

Here we go, the biggest game of the year. At least for now. I’m very excited for this one. If not for the game itself, which is huge, the fact that it is Homecoming and a lot of friends will be in town which will make the Tailgate almost as highly anticipated as the action [...]

Nick Faust Commits to Terps

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

Highly recruited SG Nick Faust committed to the University of Maryland today.  This is obviously a big get for the Terps who I am sure are glad to get a kid from Baltimore.  It’s hard to get too excited about kids still in High School, but this represents a big get for the Program who [...]

Wake Forest at Maryland Q and A

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

Time is flying this season.  We are already up to our eighth game, and this weeks opponent is the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest.  This game is huge for Maryland as one more win gets them to Bowl Eligibility, and this is a home game where they are favored.  This weeks guest blogger is RAJohnston [...]

Antwine Perez and Danny O’Brien Receive ACC Player of the Week Honors

Monday, October 25th, 2010

I think I could have predicted an ACC player of the week award for Antwine Perez after walking out of the BC game last weekend.  Two interceptions and a fumble recovery will pretty much do it for you. The important fact of  those turnovers was, they helped lead to 14 points for the Terps.  For [...]

Terps Get Much Needed Road Win in Boston

Saturday, October 23rd, 2010

You ever see one of the Happy Day’s episodes where The Fonz has to apologize, only he doesn’t  know how to say the word “Sorry” because he has never used it before?  That’s how I feel about writing “Ro…ro…roa….Road Win”.  But Happy Days are indeed here, as Maryland is now 5-2 and looking to become [...]

Maryland-Boston College Game Day

Saturday, October 23rd, 2010

Man am I nervous.  I can’t tell you the last time I’ve felt like this before a Football Game, but this one is just huge.  We’ve covered all week long why this is so big, so there is no real reason to go over it again.  So in the meantime just a couple notes.  If [...]
