Ugh, and so it begins.  The Baltimore Sun is reporting that Will Yeatman has broken his finger and will be out 6 weeks.  You can view the Sun’s post here.  This of course is bad news.  The Terps weren’t that deep in the TE spot and the role looked to be Yeatman’s for the taking.  Now what could have been a huge year for the former Notre Dame transfer is going to be cut in half (or 1/3 at least).

Extra Droppings:

For anyone who wants to know what it is like having kids, here is a quick story.  We took my 2.5 year old daughter to Dutch Wonderland the other weekend.  While there we had her play some games.  One game involved about 30 paint/dry wall buckets of different colors.  Two of those buckets were white.  If you land a beach ball in the white bucket you win the biggest prize.  My daughter took her first 2 beach balls and bounced them short of the first row of buckets.  But on the 3rd attempt, yes you guessed it, she somehow managed to land it right on the white bucket. 

Looking at the picture from a non-parent stand point, we just won a stuffed animal that is huge and we really don’t have a spot for, but looking at this from a parent’s stand point, it was one of the greatest clutch shots of all time.  I don’t know what announcer called the “The Giants win the Pennant…The Giants win the Pennant” game, but that was basically my reaction.  Only the +100 F heat kept me from taking her on a victory lap of the park.
