Steve Blake Stays in LA, But With Lakers This Time
Former Terp Steve Blake finished his 2009-2010 season in LA, with the Clippers. Someone who shares the Staples Center with the Clippers took notice, as the Lakers have reportedly come to an agreement with the free agent guard. The deal can not become official until July 7th, but it has been reported on ESPN and here in the LA Times. The deal is reportedly for 4 years worth $16 million.
The question is whether or not this is going to be a starting role or as a backup to Derek Fisher. Fisher is also a free agent for the NBA Champs. It will be interesting to see how Blake can run the triangle offense as Phil Jackson has committed to coaching the Lakers again next year.

I have it on good authority that Phil Jackson wanted another Terp after how pivotal a role Keith Booth played in his time with the Bulls.
Jordan…Pippen…Booth!!

Great news for Blake. Just keep hanging on and making bank! Now you can see why Dixon may have gone against his morales and take the cream and the clear. If you make it to free agency that equals dollar, dollar bills!
