ACC Football Season Tickets
The deadline for Terrapin Club members to renew their football season tickets is June 1st and is fast approaching. In a conversation with a fellow season ticket holder we discussed the price of football tickets and their high cost of $41.71 per game. As sporting event tickets go in this town I would say they are a good value, if you don’t mind a few losses here and there. Redksins and Wizards tickets have got to be near $100 per game. I know the good seats are significantly higher. With the success of the caps I’m sure they aren’t cheap anymore. The Orioles and Nationals can be seen for a very reasonable price. You can purchase upper level seats for under $30. The Nats even have tickets for $14 on Sundays and that includes a drink and a hotdog!
I wanted to compare season ticket prices around the ACC and this is what I found quickly searching the internet. As a reference, MD football is $292 per seat but remember that doesn’t include Terrapin Club dues and parking. I’m assuming most schools have some kind of club fee and parking as well.
Miami- Lower level starts at $199
Wake- From $120
UNC- $270
BC- Lower level $245
NCST- $305 plus additional fee of min $120
Clemson- Sold out but can buy through broker starting at $475
GT- $260 plus fee of $75 to $475 depending on seat location
FSU- $321
UVA- $270
Duke- $200
VT-Sold Out but found at broker for as little as $549
Duke is the bargain here but you aren’t paying for many wins. Clemson and VT are pricey but you get what you pay for there.

Lower level seats for the Skins, Caps, and Wiz are all over $100. Ravens are around $100. Upper level for Skins, Caps, and Wiz are between $50-$70.
I would say Maryland football is pretty cheap and cheaper than basketball games, which cost about the same (maybe a little more). 6 games at $42 vs. 18 (or so) games at $45.
