Getting Ready For Duke
Now that Duke took care of a Sylvan Landesburg-less UVA, all eyes in the ACC are going to shift to Wednesday nights Maryland Duke game. I think it safe to say this is going to be the biggest game the Comcast Center has seen. Sure there have been some great games, but not one that has had as much on the line. Add to the fact that it is senior night for Greivis Vasquez, Eric Hayes, and Landon Milbourne and things are going to be pretty nuts.
I am pumped, tickets are rumored to be going for over a grand for a pair. This is Maryland Basketball at its finest. This is what we all fell in love with and have been craving since maybe 2003 or certainly 2002. Be sure to check back often as we will be posting as often as possible. This season has had so many great games and I truly believe this is going to be a lot different then the match up at Duke. Stay tuned.

Already making plans to catch this one at the Fe. I wonder if I have to be there 4 hours before tip-off in order to get in – like the old days.

I would think so. This will be the biggest game in the history of Comcast, in my opinion. I hope they take the goal posts down and out of Byrd before Wednesday.

Oh I would say get there ASAP. There are people talking about going right after class, and all that good stuff. The good news is a lot of people will be leaving early to actually go to the game. I still would get there as early as possible.

Alright, I’m going to shoot for 6pm and hopefully that’s enough time. I guess the absolute worst case is that I can’t get in anywhere and have to turn around and come back to DC. At least I have enough time to get back home. I remember that one time, I think it was Mary, that was 3rd in line to get into the Fe but it still ended up taking 2hrs or so for her to get in. If they’re holding the line at 6pm, I’m out of there.
