Terps Roll at Home Again

Ah technology. First we were forced to watch yet another Maryland athletic event on the internet. And now I am attempting to write this post from my droid. So this likely won’t be a long recap, and let’s be honest does it really need to be?

I am not sure what Greivis Vasquez was trying to prove anything or if it was just one of those games where everything he put up was pure. I don’t really care what his motivation was, but I like the results. 25 first half points had me thinking all kinds of records might fall, but he finished with 30 points 8 boards and 5 assists while watching the last 5 minutes from the bench. On this night UVA was no match for Vasquez and the Terps

The bench looked good again with some solid minutes from Cliff Tucker, James Padgett, and Dino Gregory.

This team is on quite a roll at home, and it would be nice to see some more play like this on the road Wednesday against NCST. GO TERPS!

Just a couple of other notes. Steve Blake was traded to the Clippers. Dr. Mote will be retiring at the end of the school year. I am not sure how this will impact the athletic department, but hopefully the next president will be a big sports fan.

Ugh, the Clippers! I would be a lot more happier had he gone to the other LA NBA team.

Great game last night. There obviously wasn’t a Duke hangover. Hopefully we can ride that momentum into tomorrow nights game in Raleigh.
