Vasquez Makes Cut for Cousy Award
Greivis Vasquez has made the cut from 78 players to 20 for the Bob Cousy Award, which goes to the top point guard in the country. He currently is leading the Terps in scoring and assists. There will be two more cuts before he is listed as a finalist for the award which will be presented during the Final Four Weekend.
I saw the other night that the Terps also received a verbal commitment from Oak Hill combo guard Pe’shon Howard. I will give you a little more info on that when I get a chance later today. These days, I really hate to get excited about verbal commitments, seeing how often they decommit.
