Two Wins to Discuss
First and foremost, the Terps took care of business today on the road vs UNC Greensboro. The main story from this would be the play of Greivis Vasquez. Greivis scored 24 to pass both Terrence Morris and Johnny Rhodes to move into 9th place on the All-time Maryland scoring list. (Table on right to be updated shortly).
Before we pound our chest too much, we need to keep in mind that UNC-Greensboro is 2-11 and has lost to 5 other ACC schools. Still I’ll take it, it doesn’t make the William & Mary loss go away, but it does move us up to 9-4 on the year.
The next win to discuss involves our Bowl Pick’em Contest. Congratulations to Rwimbrow on taking the crown in the first ever Turtledroppings.com Bowl Pick’em Contest. Rwimbrow had a stellar day going 4-5, but more important than that, or at least as important, JD Leavitt whiffed on all 5 January 2, 2009 picks. Being that JD Leavitt was the closest to Rwimbrow, this has made it all academic. CWB is only 2 games behind, but of the 4 that are left, both players have the same selections.
Rwimbrow has won 20$ of stuff on any link that advertises on Turtledroppings.com. Since our links include both eBay and Amazon.com, that pretty much means anything he wants that costs under $20 (or 20$ toward a larger purchase if he covers the rest, that’s up to him). Congratulations Rwimbrow and well done. There are still some games left but you have picked Bowl games at a 22-7 clip. Very impressive. Just want to point out that we will continue with the updates until the National Champion has been crowned, just so that we can see where everyone ended up overall. But here is where we sit going into the Fiesta Bowl.

Jhannold 16 (another strong finish stymied by a poor start)
VT Fan 15 (Put together a 4 game win streak on 3 different occasions)
Rich Adams 15 (Never lost more than 2 in a row)
JAdams2017 14 (highlight of the year was the 4 game win streak from Jan 1 at 1:00 pm to whenever the Florida massacre ended)
Great Ape 12 (No winning streak longer than 2…ouch)

Jonny Utah 11 (Longest strings he could put together happened to be for the wrong reasons)
Isabelle 11 (not much ink used scoring this one)
