Officially the Champ has been crowned, but there are still a couple in house rivalries to play out.  She we are going to carry this out to the bitter end.  Tonight America will be treated to the GMAC Bowl which features Central Michigan vs. Troy.  This will serve as a nice appetizer for the National Championship Game on Thursday, which in turn is a great appetizer for the NFL Wildcard Round.  Needless to say this is a wonderful week to be a football fan.

First looking at the GMAC Bowl, a vast majority of you picked Central Michigan, while only Rich Adams and Great Ape liked what they saw in Troy.  So don’t look for much of a shake up after this one concludes.  And actually the same goes with the National Championship.  The turtledroppings.com Bowl Pick’em contestants overwhelmingly like Alabama to win.  Only JAdams2017, Jhannold, Lebron James, and Isabelle are sporting the burnt orange.  So the majority are playing C. Michigan to Alabama to finish out the year.  We shall see I suppose.

Anyway here are the standings.  The next time you see these they will be final:

CWB 20 (so close, yet so far)

JD Leavitt 19 (If he could only get Black Saturday back)

JJH 19 (At least he crushed his boss, though that may not be a good thing)

Lebron James 18 (if the contest only covered the last half of the Bowl games he would have done much better)

RIW3  18  (Bama-Texas will determine if I can beat my 8 year old nephew)

Rich Adams 17 (another victim of the slow start)

Tevin 17 (Part one of the Clemson two headed monster)

Clemson Girl 17 (and here’s the other part)

JAdams 16 (When you start 0-5 16 doesn’t look so bad)

Jhannold  16 (Got hot a couple times, but also got cold)

VT Fan 15 (with a perfect finish can still finish over .500)

Great Ape  13 (not bad for your first ever Bowl Pick’em)

AK 12 (We’ll just say AK was consistent throughout)

Isabelle 11 (If Texas can win, good bye last place)

Jonny Utah 11 (If Bama can win, good bye last place)

So there you have it, the almost final standings.  Special thanks to Rwimbrow for ruining what could have been an exciting finish for everyone, okay that was jealousy speaking more than it was me.
