A little More on Pe’Shon Howard

As I mentioned earlier, I don’t like to get to excited about recruits who are verbally committed.  Actually I don’t get to excited until I see them on the court/field for that matter.  I don’t need to run down the list of people who were supposed to be Maryland Basketball or Football players, only to decommit, not get accpeted to the school, or not show up in uniform for any other reasons.  I did some reading on Pe’Shon Howard, and I really wonder if he would have gotten the offer from the Terps had Terrence Ross signed his letter of intent at the end of the early signing period.

Let’s move on, for now any way, to a player that is very excited to be a Terp, and to me that is alway a plus.  Pe’Shon is a 3 star combo guard from California via high school basketball factory Oak Hill Academy.  He measures in at 6-2″ and 195 pounds.  Though he is listed as a combo guard, it seems he may lack some of the decision making skills that will be required to run the point in the ACC.

He chose Maryland over UCLA, Georgia Tech, Northwestern, and UVA.  He is currently averaging 15 points a game for Oak Hill.

So Pe’Shon, here’s to hoping you actually suit up at Maryland.  That being said it sure would be nice to see a back court of Stogglin, yourself, and Terrence Ross!
