And now that I have your attention, Turtledroppings.com would like to be one of the first people on the internet to congratulate Vernon Davis for his 10th Touchdown of the 2009 season. With this touchdown, Vernon now holds the record for most touchdown passes caught by a TE in 49er history.
We are especially proud of this accomplishment after some rocky moments early in Vernon Davis’s career. But it is abundantly clear that he not only belongs in the NFL, but also belongs in the group of elite NFL Tight Ends. Next August during thousands of Fantasy Football drafts, Vernon Davis is most likely going to be the guy that begins the run on TE’s. As Terp Fans we are extremely happy for his success.
So Congratulations VD! Ten is quite an accomplishment, but I don’t think you plan on ending there!

Very cool to see him do well, especially considering that prior to this year, his career was inching into bust territory.

I don’t know if anyone saw another former terp, E.J. Henderson last night. Unfortunately he had one of those injuries that makes your skin crawl. He got hit on his knee and as he flipped up in the air his leg whipped around like a wet noodle. That may have been the end of his career. Best wishes to you E.J.

I did just see the EJ Henderson injury. Gross. They are saying possible career ending injury. That would be sad, because he is finally starting to get some recognition. Maybe Erin will get some more PT.
