Vasquez Garners ACC Player of the Week Award
This couldn’t have come any sooner to make me happy! Sure I love the Terps, and want Greivis to have a stellar season and get drafted in the first round, but I am also in a crazy fantasy college basketball league, and GV led my team to a 3-0 record this week! Hooray Grievis!!!
During the weeks two games against Winston Salem St. and Florida Atlantic, Vasquez led the Terps in scoring averaging 26.5 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Let’s hope this is the Greivis we are going to see the rest of the season.
