Yeah I didn't see anything that negative about Maryland. It's tough to watch stuff on Len Bias, yet it's tough not to. I just can't get how sad the whole thing is. It's hard to think of any other person who was struck down so close to the highest possible point in their life. Very sad.

I know all about the Bias story and I think about him every once in awhile. It is truly one of the saddest stories I have ever heard. The documentary was hard to watch and riviting at the same time. I believe every parent should make their child watch this program. Bias probably saved thousands of lives in his death because kids found out that it only takes one bad trip and your dead. I know growing up that I was scared of drugs because I didn't want to die experimenting with something I didn't know anything about. Overall I think the piece was very well done. In the end it came down to the fact that Bias made a bad choice and paid for it with his life.

I think Tribble had a statement that said, "The guys new I was into drugs but they didn't know Bias did them too." I'm sure Bias had used before but the toxicologist stated that the cocaine was almost pure and it would have been a miracle if it hadn't killed him. I however don't know why Tribble and Long didn't have any ill effects. Those two guys sounded like two fellas who had been through a very tough life. They just seemed beaten down. They survived and their good friend, a sports superstar, died. I'm sure they were going to be "hangers on" to Bias and who's to say that they wouldn't have contributed to his downfall later on in life if he had survived. The death of Jay Bias was the last straw. You had to feel so bad for Mr. Bias when he was talking about Jay and accidentally called him Len. It seems like Mrs. Bias is doing much better coping with everything.

All in all a good piece and I don't think their was any MD bashing. It was nice to hear so many people say so many good things about Len Bias.
