Dion Armstrong To Transfer
Well the suspense is over for Terps Defensive Lineman Dion Armstrong. We will not have to wait until the end of summer session 2 to find out if Armstrong was going to make the grade as he informed Ralph Friedgen today that he intends to transfer.
The loss leaves the Terps with even less career stars on the defensive line. As much as I would have liked to see Armstrong play this year, I always kind of had a feeling Ralph wasn’t expecting him to make it over the last few days.
The door is wide open for A.J. Francis to make his mark a little earlier in his career. He did receive good feedback through the spring and we can really consider it a blessing he worked with the first team all spring. Now keep your fingers crossed the line can make it through the summer injury free.
If I ever get around to eating dinner tonight I will post some highlights from the practice reports.
