Captain My Captain
I can’t believe it is finally here. I am doing a game week post! The long hard wait is over. There is going to be a lot to discuss and a lot of information revieled this week, so check back often. However, I just want to give a quick look at our upcoming schedule (for us, not the Terps). Monday is a normal day, Tuesday is SF Trip Eve so a lot of packing and such is going to be taking place. Wednesday AM we fly out. We should be in San Francisco noonish Pacific Time on Wednesday (3 pm out there) at which point we should be able to resume posting stuff. However since we fly back on Sunday, we may or may not get time to do any post game posting until later.
But keep in mind this is a weird week for us. A great week, but a weird week to be running a blog. But we are going to do our best to post often out west. Now on to the main point of the post. Jeff Barker is reporting from the Sun that team Captains have been named. On offense to no one’s surprise it’s Chris Turner, and Phil Costa. On defense it is Nolan Carroll, and Adrian Moten. The special teams captains will rotate based on who Ralph thinks deserves the honor each week. Also the chance to carry the Maryland Flag out on to the field will also be awarded based on hard work.
Extra Droppings:
You see having Captains in Football is important, so I figured I’d pass this on. Having Captains in baseball is really stupid and if this were a baseball blog, I would not have passed this on (I’d be too embarassed). I’m looking in the direction of Boston and New York.
