Meet The Newbies: C.J. Brown
Like Bob said, we really need to get ramped up on these things to get to them all by the start of the Terps summer practices. So with out further adieu (I once pronounced it add-E-O while reading Shakespeare out loud in a High School English class), here is the second QB in the 2009 Maryland Football Class.
C.J. Brown is also a 3 Star rated QB on scout.com and is the #67 ranked overall QB in the 09 class. He comes to campus measuring 6′ 3″ and 200 LBS and runs a 4.7 40. C.J. comes to the Terps from Seneca Valley Senior HS in PA. As a senior C.J.’s stat line includes: 149-of-269 for 2,154 yards, 14 touchdowns and six interceptions. 640 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns on 131 carries. He list Penn State or Michigan St. as his runner up.
This Terp is from Cranberry Township, PA and was born in Troy Michigan. He was born June 27, 1991. Now here is the part we all look forward to, the part that makes us feel old! But first I googled June 27, 1991 and here are few things I came up with. First, apparently there was a UFO sighting in Area 51 on this day, but C.J. shares a birthday with the Ray Barone’s daughter Ally on Everyone Love’s Raymond, Madylin Sweeten. But Bob likes list, and if I didn’t come up with one for 1991, I wouldn’t be allowed to post anymore, so here we go:
So based on some guys blog (and we all know everything you read in a blog is the word) here is a top 5 of 1991′s Video Games.
5. Police Quest 3 (PC). I loved the police quest series myself.
4. Street Fighter 2.
3. Super Ghouls and Ghost (Super Nintendo)
2. Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega)
1. Super Mario World (SNES)
So there you have it, a little blast to the past for those of us who have grown up with controllers as appendages.
In all seriousness, Welcome to the Terps C.J. Brown, and best of luck to you. The opportunity at QB could very well be there for you come next year.

I was a big Police Quest fan as well. I can’t believe CJ was born before PQ I and II though. Also in case you haven’t figured out, we got our internet fixed!

You would pronounce it like that. I’m sure you got a few chuckles.

What ever happened to Super Graphix 16? I think that is what it was called.

I actually just didn’t know that was how it was spelled and thought it was some kind of old english word.
