Lance Stephenson is no Longer Being Recruited By Maryland
Jeff Barker is reporting that Maryland is no longer interested in Lance Stephenson. My theory when I heard this news was Lance was a backup plan for Greivis Vasquez, but according to Barker it appears Gary Williams and the Terps Basketball Staff stopped recruiting Born Ready a few weeks ago. What does this mean for the Terps? I really don’t know. Sure it would have been nice to have another scorer, but in all honesty, Lance would be eating into someone’s minutes who most likely will still be in the program a year from now, unlike Stephenson.

I get the feeling that Stephenson wasn’t going to qualify or his eligibility is in jeopardy due to the movie that was made about him. It seems like this guy may never actually play college ball because schools are bailing left and right.
