The Oakland Raiders have just selected Maryland Wide Receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey with the #8 selection.  He was the first wide receiver overall taken in the draft.  For me, I am not sure where I wanted him to go, but Oakland wouldn’t be high on the list.  None the less, congratulations to Darrius.  Looking forward to seeing you blazing through the AFC West!  Darius, I hope you prove all the talking heads wrong.  Doesn’t seem like they liked the pick too much.  Best of luck to you in your pro career.  Make the Terps proud!
