With all the excitement of the draft going on this weekend, we hadn’t had any time to touch on the Spring Game.  For those waiting the news the White Team defeated the Red Team 34-24.  Good news for the offense, not so much for the Defense.
I guess the highlight of the Spring game had to [...]

Draft Day Hangover

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

Let me start this out by saying Darrius Heyward-Bey is one of my favorite Terps, but I am not happy with how things transpired yesterday at the NFL Draft in New York City.  Darrius I feel can be a great addition to any team, but in my opinion because he is still developing, I feel [...]

Darrius Heyward-Bey Selected 7th Overall By Raiders

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

The Oakland Raiders have just selected Maryland Wide Receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey with the #8 selection.  He was the first wide receiver overall taken in the draft.  For me, I am not sure where I wanted him to go, but Oakland wouldn’t be high on the list.  None the less, congratulations to Darrius.  Looking forward to [...]
