Two Sports, Two Injury Updates
First, since this is still basketball season, Jerome Burney is out for the season. He has a broken sesmasoid bone in his right foot according to the Washington Times’ Patrick Stevens. Not a huge loss, but it is nice to have a big body back there, if for nothing else his 5 fouls. I think he could be a decent reserve someday, if he can ever stay healthy for an entire season. Jerome get well and we will see you next year.
In football the news is much better. Richard Taylor was granted his 6th season due to a medical redshirt. This will definitely help with the depth in the defensive backfield this coming year. Taylor has seen limited action the past two seasons due to a torn ACL.
Extra Droplets
If you are bored tonight tune into Villanova and Providence. Right now Providence is on the bubble and may be ahead of Maryland because they beat #1 Pitt, and have a winning record in the Big East. Like the Terps the majority of their conference wins are against the lower half of the Big East, but a win against Nova on the road, likely puts them in. Go Cats!

Yeah, Providence lost. However PSU won over Illinois last night. They might have been in already.
