They’re Back!!!!
At 6:19 pm eastern Greg Gumbel said the magic words. Maryland is a 10 seed!!!! Wow, I don’t know what to say other than congratulations to the Terps. They played hard and never gave up. They will play California on Thursday in Kansas City, Missouri.
I have been very pessimistic all year and I thought after the UVA loss they were cooked. But Gary rallied the troops and got the guys to win two games in Atlanta and wala, they are in the tournament for the first time in two years. This a great day for the Terps.

I will do an article about Cal tomorrow, but just as a heads up they shoot 43% from three. That could be a tough matchup.

Ugh, I would much rather lose in a track meet than via the 3. I guess the good news is that 3 teams can come out cold, and if that happens they will be ripe for the picking.

So, Maryland goes to a 3-2, which they have been playing very well lately.
