Lady Terps Fall to Louisville
The Lady Terps fell a game short of making the Final Four by losing to Louisville last night. It wasn’t the way Marissa Coleman and Kristi Toliver wanted to end thier careers, but when they look back they will have a lot of fond memories of their time as Terps. Thought it will be of little consolation, today they both received some good news. Toliver was named first team All-American, while Coleman was named second team All-American. To go along with their individual accolades, as Terps they also had a career record of 126-19, won the 2006 National Championship, and this years ACC Tournament Championship. They also had a sweet sixteen, and two Elite-Eights. Not to shabby.
More importantly they made me follow the Lady Terps a whole lot more than I ever did before. I will never forget that night up here in Boston, when theytook down our most hated rivals, on the biggest stage. I can honestly say I that was one of the best games of any sport that I ever saw. And for that I am grateful! Go Terps.
