Vasquez’s Triple Double Leads to ACC Player of the Week
Coming off the first Maryland triple-double in 22 years, the ACC has announced Greivis Vasquez has earned ACC Player of the Week. I thought about this yesterday while I was watching the replay. Triple-double had to be a lock for POW, right? Then I remembered Vasquez’s clunker against Clemson. That being said, his numbers against UNC were so impressive, it kind of balanced out. So here were his stats for the two games.
Clemson: 12 pts, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 5 turnovers.
UNC: 35 Points. 11 rebounds, 10 assist. 7 turnovers.
Here’s to you General! Congrats, and here’s to more of what we saw on Sunday against the Dukies!
